I know barely anyone on GameJolt sees my posts and it's mostly on Itch but can't hurt to post here too. A little over two years ago I decided to remake the World's Hardest Game as my first-ever game. After the last update, I barely touched this game and I barely touched coding in general. But recently I decided to go back and look at it (I'm lucky I decided not to delete the file) and now that I'm older I realize not only how poor my code was, but how incomplete the game was. I've already fixed several big bugs that make the game unplayable, abnormally difficult, or just glitch out in general, as well as some minor ones. I'm currently trying to change and add a few other things so the update isn't out yet but can be expected by the end of the month. I'm still shocked to see this game get views and downloads every now and then and I want the people who download it to get something more than a half-complete "game." I doubt that this will get much attention but I'd rather fix it for the few who might play it in the future than leave it how it is. Since I'm adding onto old code and can't rewrite all of my code, (plus I don't know how some of it works, it's comically bad) I won't be able to do a complete makeover to the game but I'll fix what I can. The next post will include the updated game. And if anyone read all of that, I salute you.
TLDR: After two years, I'm finally updating the game again.
