Yep. 20 perks. Most of which seem like they make sense. I guess revealing all of them in the dev-log would not make much sense. Especially because I have a strong feeling that an interesting combination of the perks will make the game beatable if (for some reason) a number of players find the game extremely challenging.
Cue evil laugh - muhahahahahahahahahah
But seriously, the perk/weapon mechanics are interesting in many games we generally play and often help extended the overall experience. This is both fun and challenging to piece together in Battle Buggy Glitch.
Anyway, the drone perk is something I am trying to figure out. I am going to settle with how it looks in Gif above for now. I’m kinda disturbed about maybe it’s rate of fire is too high… or maybe it’s damage is high….
HOWEVER… this is just wave 1 of level 1…. so I’m not entirely worried. I guess luck would fall on the player who scores the drone perk this early in the game :).
ON ANOTHER NOTE
I’m happy that feedback has overall been really positive. Looks like I have finally learned to do some things right in gamedev.
