2013 Game Stats

In 2013 we published two games: Lost Galaxy & No Ammunition. Lost Galaxy was first made with the MoMinis Game Studio back in 2011 for the Mominis GameCast Contest (3rd place). It took us two years with some interruptions (starting with new games, setup Braingine CI, bugfixing old games..) to port the game to Flash and mobile. But a big disappointment was that the Flixel game was not performing well on IOS and Android. Only the Blackberry Playbook was able to run the game with a acceptable frame rate. So we waste a lot of time with performance optimization and touch controlls for almost nothing. In the begin of 2013 I developed No Ammunition for the One Game A Month challenge. It is our first Stage3d game but it turns out that the distribution for Stage3d games is real bad because of the required wmode=”direct” parameter. Behalve that Stage3d rocks ;)

In total we have reached 2,008,403 game views since 2009. Thats a nice number for a hobby. And it is time to move on and away from Flash. In 2014 we will focus on Html5 and Unity3d games so goodbye Flash, hello future :)
