  Features all of Chapter 1, spanning four levels and one refuge

  If I'm locked in I could sneak in some of Chapter 2.. 👀

Either before or during December 2026

• "Fire & Ice" Update—Chapter 2 and Chapter 3 release

  If Chapter 2 isn't in the early access release, then it'll be part of this update

Christmas 2026?

Gameplay stuff

There are a few new gameplay mechanics I thought of

• Runes

  Cool lil items that let you cast spells and do special maneuvers (fancy term for movement). That's right buddy, a platformer game has SPECIAL MANEUVERS

• Magic Rounds (kinda wip name)

  Cool lil thingies that, basically, are magic rounds 🤯

  K but seriously basically they let you change your rifle's ammo to be cool element-themed projectiles, like fireballs or ice pellets idfk. And yes, that's right, a wizard game has fuggin FIREBALLS

Chapters

So I decided to categorize levels into five unique chapters. Why? Because it's cool and also there's 25 planned levels now as opposed to the original 16 or.. 15? Yeah 15

Each chapter spans four levels (X–{1, 2, 3, 4}) and begins with a refuge (X–0), and in the third or fourth level you get a Chaos Fragment. In Chapter 5 however, you reforge the Chaos Relic instead of finding a fifth piece because firstly there is no fifth piece, and secondly yes

Chapter 1

• "Tutorial" chapter

• Introduces things like basic gameplay, Runes and Magic Rounds

• Earth Chaos Fragment is collected in 1–3

Chapter 2

• Post-tutorial chapter idfk

• Fire Chaos Fragment is collected in 2–3

Chapter 3

• Water Chaos Fragment in 3–4

Chapter 4

• Thunder Chaos Fragment in either 4–3 or 4–4.. idk depends on what I plan for the levels

• Yes there will be a Prime Soul reference. CFCOMAD 💔

Chapter 5

• Chaos Relic is reforged from the four collected fragments in 5–0

• You fight the final boss in this chapter because it's the final chapter

• Yes the final boss is.. well yeah the main antagonist the Twilight Empress.. but there's more to it 👀
