I made Magnum P.I.’s Adventures in a Bad Neighborhood in Canada with a program called 3d Rad, it is a really easy to use game maker. You can ver easily make car games and adventure- like games, and can convert Google Sketchup files and use them directly in your game. Only downside is file sizes for games is pretty large (uncompressed my game is over 60 MB). I would reccomend it if you have never made a game before. It also has tons of pre-made mini games that are included that you can mess around with and get the riff of things.
