Welp, looks like it's that time again folks!
Because today marks the 5 year anniversary of Bonnet's Location! ~ 
(so without further ado, let's get right into the devlog

Yup, that's right!
Bonnet's Cake Rush! will be getting a new (fairly short) update for next year, starting with its slated release around April!
Now.. I don't have anything major to show off just yet, since it's scheduled to start production around late December. - (so, expect more details about this update soon)
But, that doesn't mean I'll be leaving you guys empty-handed in the dark.
So, here's a little something while you all wait until next month!:

Alright, before I start spilling any beans. I just want to remind you all that any of the concept art related to this remake is still very early in progress.
So they won't be ready yet until the sixth anniversary devlog rolls around next year.
Anyways, back to what I was saying!
Just like what I've previously said about one year ago, the bonnet's location remake will be getting an overall new look with it's gameplay and visuals.
That means that I'll be deciding on using a different version of C4D in the future and especially trying out new clickteam shaders / extensions before implementing them in!
So, expect the bonnet's location remake to differ greatly from its original 2019 and the 2021 updated version.
As for the story on the other hand, we've already gone through it and have explained that it'll still remain the same with some changes and the exclusion of its edginess from before.
But what about its horror-oriented tone / vibes, though? Well, I can't really reveal much right now since it'll spoil the surprise. What I will say is that it's going to be a tad bit intense!
(Oh, and one more thing, remember when this remake was initially called Bonnet's Location: Revision? That's also subject to change as well, since it's a placeholder title.)

Bonnet's Location: Submechanophobia is an official spinoff fangame by @FoxyGamer1980 and is an overall custom night experience.
The story takes place one week after the events of Bonnet's Location and Jeremy Fitzgerald ends up getting surreal nightmares of the same possessed animatronics that he has encountered before.
Except, something's off about them... Even he can't quite put his finger on it.

Man, making these anniversary devlogs can get very exhausting to finish, but it was worth it!
Normally I would've had something special prepared for this devlog, but unfortunately, no anniversary-related fangame as of right now. - (maybe next year)
Other than that, thank you for sticking around with us on this 5 year-long journey!
