A couple days ago, I started looking at terrian generation in Godot. This was one of my favourite gens that I got. There are only 6 tile variates, so it looks a bit weird in some places.


This is for one of my big projects. This isn't how the game will look at all. This is a small test to mess around with terrian generation. Very cool.


Key:

The grey tiles are supposed to be the mountains.

The dark and light green tiles are different elevations of grass.

The yellow tiles are supposed be the sand.

The light blue tiles are the low end of the ocean.

The blue tiles are the high end of the ocean.


Oh no... I just had a very awful idea; I try to do the same thing but using JS without any libraries instead of Godot. Ngl, I'm considering it but I don't get much out of it except some flex points and less brain cells.
