Age verification has been on the rise lately now this form is very invasive because you either upload a selfie or a photo of your government id wich both can be used against you if they fall into the wrong hands a selfie can nowadays be manipulated using deep fake technology to make it look like you said or did things you wouldn’t normally do including explicit things made with ai

The government id has your home address and name wich if in the wrong hands could be extremely dangerous for you and your family because it could be sold on the dark web

In response to these invasive measures i encourage getting the companies’s involved attention since these companies only care about money number one is extremely effective

You can help the cause by refusing to do the age verification dropping any subscriptions and emailing the company on why and that if they listen and drop the age verification you will resume paying

Email your legislators and tell them the risks associated and how even the strongest security measures for data protection have failed in the past resulting in massive data breaches

Take to the streets and protest against this hazard let people know the issue loud and clear

And most importantly tell other people what’s going on could be your friends family coworkers because if they know the risk they are more likely to act on it

I am not calling for violence as I want this issue handled peacefully i don’t want any laws broken or people attacking each other this is a huge issue that requires all our cooperation
