Hello everyone, it's paul again
So, I was planning to play AHaR v1.1 for an episode of Paul Plays on my YT channel, but due to unforseen circumstances I may have to hold off on it for now. I came down with an illness last month, which has given me a cough that won't go away. I went to a doctor recently to get checked up on - I am in the clear, luckily; what I have is some sort of viral thing, at least that's what I was told. I'm kind of worried what will happen to me if it persists... hopefully I'll get better before the new year.
Anyway. Here's a video showing some changes in the A.I. of some of the characters, most of which are still the same like in the v1.5 teaser I posted long ago. All of whom featured have their levels set to 20 for demonstration purposes:
Pichu can now be sent back to Pichu's Stage upon arriving in the central hall. The closer he is to getting into the office, the longer it takes for him to move back (and the more light energy you consume, so I'd be VERY careful)
Furret can now move even when you aren't using the Monitor, although he moves much slowly. Aside from that his mechanics are the same; shut the door if you see him outside the W. Hall corner.
Jigglypuff can appear at the Prize Counter on her way to the East Hall (I will be planning to have her appear in the party area as well, haven't implemented that yet.) To make the game more challenging, if she gets inside your office, on top of disabling the door lights and flashlight she'll drain your power! She'll stay longer if both doors are closed.
Gengar can now appear in your office and in the central hall when you aren't using the Monitor. His new mechanic of his face appearing on the cameras is still intact, but if he gets you, he'll send you to the game over screen instead of closing the game.
Some other changes are that you can now pause the game at any time by pressing ENTER. There's also a phone on the desk, and I've updated the scrolling in the office to make it easier for the player to click on things. On top of that, you'll no longer have to click the Monitor button to use the cameras!!!! (I was inexperienced with CF2.5 when I started working on AHaR, so the only way of opening the monitor that I could figure out is by clicking on it.)
Well I guess that's it for now. When I'm done with v1.5 I may go on to work on something else that isn't FNaF or AHaR related, might try to figure out how to use Godot to make a Sonic-related thing I've had in mind for a while (no it isn't a EXE game.) Though who knows... I might recode AHaR because I feel like the game's code is a bit messy in some areas.
Feel free to leave any questions in the comments below. See you around! - paul
