Here's a little update on what the girls are up to - now they have some 'real' skin tones to choose from, although I haven't given them a choice of school-approved hair colours yet! They need some mouths, but they're coming along.
I've also added in little stickers when a girl has met her end which tells you what her role was (which happened in Slaughter Horse) as well as who was responsible for her demise (which didn't). I thought this was a nice touch to let the player know who is causing the most damage, and also if you made a slight error as I did in the picture, that accusing "YOU" as cause of death will remind you every turn!
Next up
A play through of an early build of Slaughter School.
Slaughter School version 1.0.5
Nearly finished the default avatars, just the revealed bad guys to do. Although maybe I should leave them as they are, what do you reckon? Pretty scary, right? :)
Happy to announce that the first build of Slaughter School is now live on the Play Store! https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.catfoodstudios…
Slaughter Horse 2: Saturday Update
Our murderous nag is being reviewed by Steam at the moment. Originally I planned to release a mobile version followed by a PC/Steam one, but it's now most likely going to be the other way round.
Release date tentively set for August.
Slaughter Horse 2 continues development, not ready soon as I hoped but getting there! If you'd like to stay really abreast of it, please join the Discord server at https://t.co/M7YD1ZsOMT Screenshots: The Preacher's church and your cloak in progress.
Version 1.0.8 - the Custom Name update
Very close to 1.0 being completed now, so Slaughter School should be out the end of this week as I was hoping. During this last phase, I've had some inspiration regarding Slaughter Horse 2, so I might be resurrecting that for the next project. Fun times!
