Hello! I've uploaded v1.1.2 to the Play Store - the game will inform you when it's live as usual.
In this update:
*Fixed bug where the Lookout would spot incorrect roles, for example the Recluse who never goes anywhere or the Queen when she was lying low.
*The Ghola Liar is now a master of disguise, and will appear to be an innocent girl to the lookout! This gives the Gholas a further advantage.
*The Liar, in her disguise, can now also visit the victims of the Queen or Drone the same night as they do in an attempt to confuse matters.
*Instruction text can now be scrolled so it no longer has to be so teeny-weeny.
*Fixed bug where resetting a girl's name back to default would set them ALL back to default.
*Fixed bug where once the Lush had been positively ID'd (by herself or the Newshound) it didn't show up on the roster.
*Audio clues now play during the night phase. My personal favourite is the Cadet blazing away, but also more useful is that you will be able to hear if the Wiccan's spell fails - for whatever reason.
*A little bit more flavour text added, especially for the Party Girl who to date only had one success response to you giving her a job.
Still to come:
The Morning 'who died' thing really needs to be made more interesting and I'm pondering how to do that exactly.
A more dramatic update when you hang a suspect!
To balance out the Ghola Liar's new disguise tactic, I'm considering that if your nurse saves someone's life, that someone has a chance to be able to identify who attacked them. This would make the nurse pretty powerful, so we'll see if it works or if it unbalances the game too much.
As you can now import your own avatars, I think it might be a good idea to offer an option where you can set a character's gender. Mixed education system! That might mean the 'Ghola Queen' and 'Party Girl' need less gender specific names - at least until you've revealed who they are.
Pre-defined avatar sets you can use. I have the images I need to make an anime-style Girl's School from https://sutemo.itch.io/female-character for starters.
Challenge modes incorporated in. These will be pretty much exactly the same as the ones in Slaughter Horse.
And finally, time to start looking at multiplayer options! That'll be a big one and I'm a tad reluctant to embark upon it until I'm really happy that all bugs have been quashed in the single-player version. It will also appear in stages - Pass and Play. Once that works correctly, onto Local Multiplayer (where you all use the same wifi) and finally Remote Multiplayer. That's not something I have much experience with, so stay tuned for that one.
The game has been live on Play for a while now, and hasn't picked up that many players to date, but that's nothing unusual. It always seems to take at least a month before an app really gets going on there. Thanks to everyone who has played and reported issues so far!
