Hey everyone!

Been a while since we gave any proper updates, and I apologise for that, though I did try to post some short news on our Discord server as well as my personal GameJolt profile.

As you may already know, we were planning to release _RADSLA_ REMAKE during this spring, May, to be exact. I always thought that was the most appropriate release month and season we could give to this game, and we were pretty confident to be able to finish the remaining bits of the game by then. Most of which were fully on my shoulders to finish, as others were finishing up with their work. Unfortunately, as the spring rolled around, my personal life had gotten way too busy for me to handle working on the game.

While I always thought that personal things are something that my followers shouldn't know or care about, and that it should stay behind the curtains, I think this time I owe you guys some explanation. I am a tech university student with a very serious back problem that started pretty much at around the same time as we began working on this project 6 years ago. Over the years, it has become more and more difficult for me to just sit and work for multiple hours, even with breaks, so I couldn't juggle between tons of university assignments and the game. So, I had to finish one thing before proceeding to another. By the time I became fully free to work on the game again, May had already arrived. I tried my best to finish the remaining parts of the game by the end of May, pulling painful all-nighters and such, but as the date came closer, I realized that I still needed some time to finish everything properly. And with that, unfortunately, I'm going to have to announce that I'm delaying the release until June.

I can't explain much about what exactly is taking so long without spoiling the big surprise, but there are things in this game that need a lot of time and care put into them to make them look and feel good. Things that I haven't seen done that often in the fangame scene, at least not at the size and capacity that we are doing. And our team consists of only 4 people, two of whom, BasicallyHats and I, had no prior experience of making any proper game before. Despite this, I never thought that anything we had planned for our games was impossible, not with such brilliant and talented people behind my back. I am very proud of what we are doing with this game, and I am also deeply sorry for letting the team down at a moment like this.

By no means is this meant to be a "pity me" post or anything like it. I made a promise to finish the game on time, and I failed to deliver. You have the right to be mad or disappointed. I just wanted to explain my reasoning, as well as be fully transparent with you.

As a closing thought, I wanted to say thank you for your long-awaited patience with us, and I am sorry that I am making you wait a little more. I will make sure to continue to provide updates on the game as I am slowly finishing the remaining content and preparing a long celebration of the release date announcement and game launch.
