So… after finishing my first game and proving to myself that I can actually start and finish something, I think it’s time to officially say it:
All my future projects will be focused on the genre I’ve always wanted to make games in, Horror with a Narrative-driven core. There’s just something about these kinds of games… they don’t end when the credits roll. They stay with you. They linger.
I already have a few ideas swimming in my head. They’re not fully shaped yet, but they’re there, waiting to be built 😅
As for the art style, I think I’ll stick with 2D pixel art for the next couple of projects.
Eventually, I’ll probably move to 3D… but for now, this is where I feel most comfortable, even if I feel like pixel art might be my biggest weakness in these upcoming projects.
But before I dive in, I need to slow down a bit and set things right, like cleaning up my socials to align them with the long-term vision, and building a solid project structure so the next game starts organized, not chaotic... and more.
That’s why I think it’s worth taking a little time to get ready, instead of rushing into the next thing and patching things along the way.
This next chapter feels different...
And I want to do it right.
