A new update is out for the game! Changelog below;

- Added in a new script, being Change Windowskin by Modern Algebra! Its use application in-game is for you to now be able to change your windowskin at save points! You can still adjust the background color of these windowskins in settings.

- Fixed the bug where you could no longer leave Village 2 after defeating the priest and the golem in the normal route.

- Fixed the bug where the villager's house next to the golem in Village 2 does not display the dead sprite (if you have Dead/Alive Checks = ON), even if they are dead.

- Updated the dead/alive sprites to have a black outline around them, which shows their imperfections, and now they are more insecure, but they should be easier to see for you now!

- Added a sound effect that plays when selecting either Normal or Hardcore mode at the beginning of the game.

- Updated the text for the soundtrack selection screen. If you didn't know, MZE is cancelled!

- Made a demake version of Alex Fight, it can be heard in-game if you use the original soundtrack option when starting a new game! This demake version was even made in LMMS so it was as accurate as possible :D

- Forgot to compress a few extra songs, so I did that!

- FINALLY FIXED THE TEXT SKIP FUNCTION! I would've done this sooner if I decided to even glance at the code once, but I just removed the dependency for the game needing to be in $TEST mode, so you can now ACTUALLY skip text when holding S.

- Instead of throwing all of the game's controls at you through a text box, I decided to change it to be a picture instead! Should be easier to digest.

- You can now change the soundtrack version on the fly! A new switch has been added in the settings page.

- The Scornful Slime is now a 1/10 (10%) chance instead of a 1/100 (1%) chance. Instead of a 3x increase (compared to the standard slime's) EXP and E, it is now a 4x increase. The probability of the Ench. Netherite Sword dropping from the Scornful Slime is now 1/100 (1%) instead of 1/20 (5%).

- Added a new move to Steve and Alex, called Spincut! It damages 3 random enemies. Both of them get it at Level 4.

- You can now visit Scamuel properly in the standard route.

- Updated the forested tree texture.

- Illager no longer knows the skill Transmogrify. That's embarrassing.

- Fixed the weird behavior of the save point shop.

- Fixed not being able to enter Village 3 (when already on Love Island) in the normal route.

- Added a bunch of checks to stop the player from visiting certain areas during the "truth investigation" version of the overworld.

- Fixed the music switching back to the field music when exiting the car during the "truth investigation" version of the overworld.

- Fixed the duplicated Alex showing up briefly before Illager's cutscene during the "truth investigation" version of the overworld.

- Found a bug that I won't specify because I'm a gatekeeper, but I fixed a certain aspect of it while still keeping in the main functionality of it. It's a feature, not a bug.

I might be getting back into the swing of things... - Devlog 2

Hello, everyone!

I am working on Build 22, which will make many changes to my systems. Specifically, the menu has a new look, and I'm fixing the lag issues (finally).

I'm adding some extra funnies and cool mechanics as well. I hope you look forward to it!

Been working lately on lots of 'behind-the-scenes' boring stuff that no one really cares about, so here’s a guy playing the sax for some reason.

Let me introduce you to the new Mech line: Gendai Spec. Those are Mech that specializes in surprise attacks, covered operations, and stealth. They are equipped with melee weapons but one of Gendai's frames supports sniper rifles.
