A Q&A video, new flashing speeds system and more! | Status Devlog #17

Hello guys and welcome to a new Status Devlog.
So it is already April and the progress of Stage Simulator is doing great so far.
But let’s start with something different.

Stage Simulator Q&A on YouTube

Yes I am currently making a new video for YouTube where I answer your most recent and relevant questions about this game. I will also discuss your suggestions.
So if you got any questions or suggestions let me know it on YouTube, Twitter or the comment section of this devlog.

New smarter light flashing speeds interface

Of course you know that I want to make this game as simple as possible to understand and to play. That also means, that I have to keep the managers in this game really clear. The flashing speeds system got a little bit overhauled and it is programmed even smarter now. Let me show you:

So as you can see all flashing speed enable buttons are showing up. When you click on one of them it will of course activate this flashing speed but instead that all other enable buttons disappear they will be still showing up and two stripes to the left and right of the button will show you that this speed is currently enabled. The smart thing about this is, that when you enable another flashing speed now, the previous one will turn off. Of course you can still turn the flashing speed off by clicking on the disable button.

Special Features of the Emblyn Stage and Specta Stage

As you know every stage will get it’s very own special feature. The Pentum Stage already has one (the Camera Helicopter).
I am really thinking about of what I could add to the Emblyn and Specta Stage. At this point I need my wonderful Stage Sim Community again.
Let your creativity be free and give me your suggestions what special feature thos stages could have (of course these features can only be activated via the DMX Controller in the stage control tent). But as always, please keep it realistic.

And there we reached the end of this status devlog again.
So if you have any questions or suggestions for this game I would be really grateful if you tell me these.
Have a nice day!

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
