A Skeletal Animation


After the model is done its now time to get it moving. This way we can make sure that there are no big flaws in the model before we spend lots of time texturing it.

For this we choose a little jump animation a skeleton would do to avoid getting run over by a car - or maybe that’s gonna be the animation for jumping into the car. You know. The skeleton-way of catching a taxi.

Since we have only little experience with 3D animation we made heavy use of one of these new fancy auto-rigging tools and animation libraries.
It’s a amazing that such tools exist.
