A very productive week

In the last few days since my previous devlog entry, things have progressed very well.

I managed to clear another couple of bugs (one that has been around for a while and I was never sure if I was actually going to bother fixing it), and have wrapped up the following:

  • More tutorial labels so players should get a better understanding of some items on the GUI/HUD.

  • Changing up the GUI/HUD so that it looks a lot better than it did previously, and things are clearer.

  • Stopping the player from being able to enter the endgame citadel without the requisite weapon to face the final boss.

  • All of the sounds have been added to the game, and seem to all be working without any problems.

The next thing to focus on is the final boss battle. I have be procrastinating with this for a while, even since I had revised the plan of this to be a lot better than it originally was. I am looking forward to getting that part finished in this next week, and then spending a bit of time over the long weekend to run through some more fixes/tidy-ups.
