In the last few days since my previous devlog entry, things have progressed very well.
I managed to clear another couple of bugs (one that has been around for a while and I was never sure if I was actually going to bother fixing it), and have wrapped up the following:
More tutorial labels so players should get a better understanding of some items on the GUI/HUD.
Changing up the GUI/HUD so that it looks a lot better than it did previously, and things are clearer.
Stopping the player from being able to enter the endgame citadel without the requisite weapon to face the final boss.
All of the sounds have been added to the game, and seem to all be working without any problems.
The next thing to focus on is the final boss battle. I have be procrastinating with this for a while, even since I had revised the plan of this to be a lot better than it originally was. I am looking forward to getting that part finished in this next week, and then spending a bit of time over the long weekend to run through some more fixes/tidy-ups.
