Okay, i know i said 2 months ago my next long post would of an au i made.(as if you even care). I'm getting to it.

anyways

a few months ago, my cousin asked me to play a game called "A Way Out". i thought: "looks cool ig, but i don't think this is my type of game." well, here we are now. after my cousin repeatedly asked me, i said fine. i'm glad i did. it's AWESOME!

Plot: A Way Out is a 2 player prison escape game. you and your friend can play as either leo or vincent. leo is a stubborn man who is a bit of a hothead. vincent is your standard character in a TV show who has a rational brain compared to the others. you escape a prison, working together in cool ways. but that's not the whole game. both vincent and leo were betrayed by a man called "harvey". they want to kill him, so after they escape, they track him down. there's more, but that'll get into major spoilers, so i'll do it in the "ending" section.

have you played the game or don't care about spoilers? ok then.

so it turns out that vincent is a cop. when harvey betrayed leo, they were selling a diamond, and vincent and his group were trying to get it back. so they used a fake buyer, who was vincents brother. harvey shot gary (vincents brother) after he gave him the money. leo tried to stop harvey from leaving, but got knocked out. when vincent and the gang showed up, they saw leo unconscious, and gary's dead body. vincent decided he'd pretend to be a prisoner and help leo to kill harvey and get the diamond. after they got the diamond back, vincent reveals he's a cop, and puts leo under arrest. but leo is stubborn and takes vincent hostage. long story short, you end up in a gun fight between you and your friend. now, i know what you're thinking: "isn't this in the LEGO STAR WARS: Complete saga?". well, yeah, but it actually impacts the ending of the game. anyways, my cousin killed me (i was vincent), cuz i failed at aiming. and the endings are AWESOME. i've only seen the one where leo wins, and it was cool.

anyways, i've left out some details in the game that makes the ending more impactful for when you play it.

if you want to play it...all i know is it's on game pass.

rating:8/10 game with a 10/10 ending. great job, josef fares. you and hazelight have made awesome games which were published by EA cuz they want to pretend they don't have those pesky micro-transactions. ya aren't fooling anyone, EA.
