hi. please read the previous post if you haven't already, the november update... I wanna talk about me, uhhh taking bits from other people's sprites, or in other words, stealing. it's not happening anymore, i think the last time it happened was maybe a few months ago? at least the last time it happened on purpose. for example, and this one's very specific, THIS hand sprite.

it's not exact, but it's lifted from the sprite on the left, which i think is from a pointless mod called "Downtown Mechanic". and I lifted it like a year ago but it appears in many sprites because it was my go-to hand sprite, and the whole time i'm using it, i'm not thinking about how it wasn't drawn by me!

there's a simillar story with oak tree steve's arm as well.

I would like to say, I am drawing the rest of the sprites. and for every one sprite with something like this, there's 20 or 30 that don't. The good thing about this, at least, is that now i'm aware of it, so it won't happen again. Bitchin'. I'm sifting through eeeeeeevery sprite I've made, and I'm being quite thorough. I'll redo anything I'm not confident is my own. The idea of something that isn't my work being in my project, this thing that's supposed to be my vision of a game enjoy, makes me uncomfortable, and it's also just wrong to use someone else's stuff. i know that, everyone knows that. I talked to a buddy about this and they said that making a post about this was irrelevant, and that I should just change the sprites quietly and move on. But I think this is the right thing to do, you people have been nothing but kind to me and it's not polite to omit something like this.

i think that's it. apologies if this was a bit disjointed and ramble-y, i wrote it at 4am. if you have any, please ask questions, maybe about how something like this happens, or if any given sprite is plagarised, or even just wanna ask me how im doing. which is very polite thank you for asking. if you want to not play orange edition or block me or cut me open and take out my organs one by one, i won't blame you. but i will not knowingly let orange edition have stolen content in it.
