After all, it happened, I need to delay to 2017... For one or two months.


Now first of all: I am really only talking about a delay of one or two months, not half a year or even worse, a whole year! I will be finished in early 2017, I promise! I simply ran out of 2016 months! :)

For the reasons: after a recent Playtest, I realized just how much work there is still to do on Macbat 64. A lot of small details need more polishing, there are still a lot of bugs, the camera for certain levels is simply bad and a few story parts need some reworking as well. Now as you might remember, I was going for a December 31st Release for Macbat 64 but it became pretty clear to me now, that there is no way I will be able to finish it in time.

Also, I can totally understand if you guys are disappointed, because I sure am! I would have loved to finish it in time, but there is just no way I can pull all of this off during the holiday season.

On the plus side, needless to say, the game will only benefit from this! It will look better (even lower polygons!), play (a lot!) better, and simply feel more authentic.

One last โ€œI am sorryโ€ for today: The full intro cutscene to Macbat 64 that is retelling the story of Kiwi 64 (almost 100% accurate!) with the lovely voice of Clayton Belcher of Jolly Crouton Media fame:
