Touhou Kishinjou - Double Dealing Character - Stage 4 + 5 and difficulties
Akira here!
You see, I own DDC for quite a long time, but I hadn't play it for long, so despite I get it to stage 5 with continues and stage 4 without continues, I still not very good at it. Things are as below:
Stage 4 - Benben is f***ing hard:
That thing screw me up when Benben have the "Hoichi the Earless" Spell Card when she have several phantoms that surrounds her and once they turn red and move, she shoots red music notes at me, then the phantoms turned blue and stopped moving again... and the whole thing start over.
Also, despite in this playthrough I haven't seen it yet, the music score Spell Card is said to be hard as it calculates the position of the player and the boss, but with Spell Practice, I might get through Stage 4 (and Benben) safely.
Stage 5 - Your Best Nightmare
The bullet patterns here is insanely hard - Bullets that can reverse their shooting direction (Kokonton in my first game uses this later). Things are even harder with Seija, who can flip the screen, and this screw me up atfirst, but I can get through her basic left-right flipping thingy, then her basic up-down flipping thingy. But the hard thing lies in her two final Spell Cards, which the first involving her shooting arrows from the bottom of the screen up, confusing me and I keep running into these arrows all of the time (maybe Yoshika Hakata copied this and integrate it into their attack skill where they hide behind the enemy and shoots unpredictably at them? (srry, this is headcanon and I hasn't confirm this to be canonical in the Carmine Blood series yet)), and the second involving a spiralling circle of bullets combining with the up-down-left-right flipping, but somehow I managed to get through it in Spell Practice. This is almost practically like Photoshop Flowey's battle, a bullet-hell extravaganza.
