4 years ago (something like that), genAI appeared.

There was the free one "Mini Dall-E" (Now named Craiyon)

and the 2 premium ones ($$) Midjourney and Stable Diffusion.

This community was created to share the goofy friendly creations of this new technology. For the archives, we knew it was searching from Google to generate some prompt, but no ones noticed, yet, that AI were stealing from artists.

On 2024, we got MASSIVE layoff by big compagnies to remplace them by AI (Microslop, for example). Also, some users online started to notice that AI were stealing their arts and were calling this out.

This community has 10k followers as the OG who were there just to test this new technology. This is now barely used by them as protest to the layoff (maybe?) And primary because AI robs artists for generating stuff.
