Although Not Quite Yet In Its Official Final Form, We Promise To Have The Entire Game Released By Christmas! Please, Let Us Explain:


As some of you have seen, we released the official Ryu Campaign Demo a while ago. We also explained the tasks which will need to be completed before the game can be launched in its final form, and before Voice Packs and Audio Filter Variants may come out for it. If you already know what exactly was explained, you may skip the next paragraph.

Now that we’ve finished all eighteen stages of the Ryu campaign, we don’t have to entirely rebuild them to make all the other characters’s campaigns; we just have to make seventeen slightly altered mods of Ryu’s campaign, which is simple: just take any already completed entire character campaign, duplicate it, swap out Player One’s right facing character model with that of another fighter; match the voice acting to the new Player One model; and when Player One’s gender is changed, toggle the gender bit on her or his “Game Over” system voice file; and just like that, we’ll soon have all eighteen campaigns finished, and the game will finally be ready to launch worldwide!

Whew!

With all of that out of the way, we really want to give you at least some way to playthrough the entire stock game before Christmas, so that we don’t have to feel so guilty for making you wait just a bit more for the true final build. Therefore, we’re going to develop full campaign demos for all of the other seventeen characters, and instead of demos, we’ll call them Play Packs.

Yes, Ryu Shall Become A Play Pack Too!

We shall rebrand Ryu’s Demo as a Play Pack, thusly enabling all eighteen characters to be fully playable before Christmas, by December Eighteenth at the absolute latest, unless otherwise specified.
