The release date was once again silently pushed, this time from 20th October 2021 to 1st March 2022. This was caused by unfortunate circumstances.
In early September, I experienced multiple hemorrhages (bleedings) in my left lung, caused by my preexisting condition. I was quickly admitted to the hospital, and went through multiple procedures to locate the site in which the bleeds occurred in the lung, and treat it accordingly. Although the doctors were unable to identify the exact vessel causing the bleeding, the radiologists embolized an intercostal artery largely suspected in supplying blood to the hemorrhaging site. The procedure went fine without complications.
More than a month has passed since the hospitalization, and I have fortunately not coughed up any more blood since.
However, these circumstances had left me exhausted, and combined with some stressors in my personal life, I experienced a burnout. This is why I delayed the release, and took a break from development.
I'm sorry if this comes as disappointing for some, trust me, it is just as disappointing for me, if not more. I want the game to be released as soon as possible, but I will not compromise on quality. On a positive note, I can tell that I am feeling better and less exhausted than I did the following weeks after surgery, and I am back to working on the game. In the meantime, I will continue to update the demo for any new features or changes. I have some other exciting news I will share in a separate announcement.
