Mechanic: He'll come down either the west or east hall. You'll hear his footsteps getting closer and closer, when they stop, shut the correct door.

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.
In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)
A house I've built a while ago. :)
It nicely separates the snowy biome from the grassy one.
It's built with painted Ebonstone.
