Riptide Rapids is no longer in effect.
With this game never reaching its full potential and having features that I promised that were never added into the game, I feel that I have left some people disappointed. I too was disappointed by the final result of it (but it was very fun working on the game and getting it done in the beginning).
I feel like there should have been much more to the game. Much more “hey look at this cool feature” or “wow! so many interesting levels that each have their own style!”. But sadly, none of this amazement was introduced. I started this game about 1-2 years ago and I think it was a very good concept.
If you are looking for a completion to the game, I must let you know that there will be none as this is as far as this version of it will go… But, that does not mean that I cannot make a NEW version. TSUNAMI was a very basic 2D art style game that had a decent amount of time put into, but never acted to its full extent. What if there was a 3D version with tons of levels, secrets, and even more variation?
