Boring Stuff at Start
Hi everyone, before I start this post I’d like to quickly announce, I’ve accidentally deleted the intro frame including dialogue from Matthew Smith and saved over it, so I’m still thinking whether to just stop updating it or to continue but leave that intro out. I’d say the game is stable enough by now however.
Android Port
Okay so I’ve been working on it for a little while now and I’d say it’s stable enough to be released but only as an Early Access type deal. You can currently download it as the second download on the game page, this version will not be uploaded to the original TNS page as I’m offically done supporting the game on that page.
Please note however that other than the odd tests that Ace Creeper and a few others have done for me, I can’t be sure this is completely bug free as I’ve never put a game on Android before let alone a game of this size.
F.A.Q
Q. Didn’t Scott say that mobile fan games weren’t allowed?
A. Now I don’t know for absolutely certain but from what I’ve been told you can release APK files. I do know however that you cannot put them on the Google Play store and I certainly didn’t intend to. If there is some legal problem with it I’ll happily take it down.
Q. It’s an APK file…how am I suppose to install this exactly?
A. There’s many ways to transfer APK’s to your phone or tablet for example I used a usb cable that came with one of my phones, connected it to my PC and just transfered the file that way. Once it’s on your phone or tablet just tap it and it should ask if you’d like to install it, let it install and you should be able to jump in and play!
Q. Is this games features any different?
A. Some features are different in the way they are used such as the Camera Flash and the Jammer. There’s a gif below for anyone slightly confused. Very unprofessional gif I might add.
Q. Have any features been removed to save ram?
A. The intro sequence has been removed aswell as cutting down a bunch of animations to save ram as Fusion is very limited when it comes to that type of stuff. However, the game is still playable enough I’d say.
Q. Difficulty changes?
A. I’ve nerfed the game a little bit since when I played it I couldn’t get past Krug no matter how hard I tried so hopefully now it should be more fit for Mobile.
Go get it if you feel like playing it on the go, or to just check it out.
