Announcing "Final Nights 4: Low spec version"!


Heya folks, been a while!

I’ve been receiving a lot of bug reports and complaints regarding performance on really low end systems, now 90% of these bugs can be traced back to the logic crapping out due to the low framerate.

So to fix this and to help with some people who can’t seem to get the game to work at all I’ve released the “Low spec version”!

This version of the game is forced onto the lowest of low settings, no effects, no realtime shadows, no foliage, no particles and reduced post processing.

Also the first time a FN game launches in 32 bits!

So you all running that dinosaur can rejoice and try to run the game now :p.

I hope this version is a good alternative for those who are using older or just weaker systems and that it will eliminate most performance related bugs.

DEMO HOTFIX 1.1.1 A quick hotfix for the last patch! I sadly wasn't able to recreate the bugs mentioned, so I've attemped to reinforce the parts of the code that were problematic. If you still encounter these let me know!

DEMO PATCH 1.1 Hey all! Thank you all so much for your enthusiasm regarding the game! Going from 5 playtesters to thousands overnight is scary, and some bugs did show their ugly heads. So here's a patch! Alongside a big reduction in filesize!
