What is Kirby: Dream Quest?

Kirby: Dream Quest is a Kirby fangame I'm developing for the Game Boy using Game Boy Studio.

It's a fangame that takes the original Kirby's Dream Land and completely changes it from a platformer into an RPG!

Planned Features

I can't promise any of these thanks to the many limitations found in https://www.gbstudio.dev/, but here's the main features I hope to have in the game:

The originals 5 Areas expanded with puzzles, side-quests, etc.

(while keeping the roots of the area such as it's enemy pool, bosses and etc.)

• Mario & Luigi inspired dodging/counter mechanics

• Copy abilities

Development

I don't have a lot of free time at the moment (and I may never have a lot in my life ever again), but whenever I get free time I'll likely be working on the game.

My current plan is to post update posts on the 1st of every month, though if progress is too slow that could change to every 2 months.

That's all I have to say about this 'lil project for now.
