Yesterday marked 7 years that Duels of Fortune has been in development (scary!), and to celebrate the occasion, we're doing something VERY special! We're proud to announce the first ever...
DUELS OF FORTUNE COSTUME CONTEST!,
That's right! We want to see YOUR most creative, wacky, and stylish ideas for new costumes, and our favourite designs will get to be OFFICIALLY added to the game! This contest starts RIGHT NOW, and submissions will be open until September 10th! During that time, you may submit up to 3 different costumes if you wish (however, each costume MUST be for a different character), and at the end, we'll select 3-5 winners depending on how many submissions we get. To keep things fair, we will not select multiple winning designs made by the same person.
How to Submit,
Once you have a design ready, submit it through THIS GOOGLE FORM to have it officially entered! You can share your designs publicly if you wish, but if you don't also submit to the form, we won't be able to accept your submission.
The Rules,
This is only a condensed version of the rules, and we HIGHLY recommend you read the more detailed rules listed in the Google Form above!!! The form also contains some general design advice to help your submission stand out.
MAIN ROSTER ONLY (No costume characters or bosses. Guests are fair game),
NO 18+/MATURE ELEMENTS (i.e. nudity, gore, drugs, etc.),
YOU MUST INCLUDE A VISUAL REFERENCE (i.e. a sketch, digital art, pen-and-paper doodle, etc. AI art is not allowed),
MAX OF 3 SUBMISSIONS PER PERSON,
COLLABORATION IS ALLOWED,
NO CHARACTER SWAPS (i.e. Roy, Shin, Evilobster, etc.),
NO OUTSIDE REFERENCES/CROSSOVERS,
WE MAY TWEAK OR MODIFY THE WINNING DESIGNS IN ANY WAY IF WE CHOOSE,
