Another (game) bites the dust


sigh

I guess it’s becoming tradition that the games I actually put effort into get absolutely no attention. The fact that my cliche horror game “Hospital” is the only game that has been recognized saddens me to be honest.

“The Gilded Sky Thief” was meant to be an entry for the whole #IndiesVsPewDiePie thing but I’ve given up hope on even being recognized for entering. I’m an 18 year old indie game developer. I say that with pride because I truly and honestly believe myself to be just that; independent. I’ve spent years doing the artwork, writing, coding, music and advertising for every project I’ve made but to no avail. I don’t want to seem like I’m speaking out of anger or even that I’m being pretentious but I would like to at least be recognized for putting time in for others to enjoy my creation. I know If I had more broad distrubition options or If I didn’t send out fantastically “difficult” zip files it might make a difference but I’m very limited.

I’m not even hoping to win anymore, as far as I’m concerned this game is a dead project but I would like to ask that in the future my games are given a chance. I don’t have a team or different OS testers but I do have great ideas and a passion for making things. I just hope I can avoid situations like these from now on so my passion won’t be in vain.

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.

Let me introduce you to the new Mech line: Gendai Spec. Those are Mech that specializes in surprise attacks, covered operations, and stealth. They are equipped with melee weapons but one of Gendai's frames supports sniper rifles.
