Area 86 DevLog #11

Beep!

Somehow week passed without any noticeable progress, but probably that’s normal.
We all have our development/life upsides and downsides ;)

But hey - Don’t think that nothing was done - hell no!
Always wanted to add a feature where the robot is swinging by its movement force. And here it is the result:

Before work starts on next level, need to add some little fixes/updates.

  • Add hint for users to use the Activate key/button when robots antenna starts to blink ( maybe need another feature that lets the user know something is possible in current spot?! )

  • Make the 2nd level placement boxes little bit bigger
( most people got a stuck cube in one of them :D but at least it did allow to complete the level )

  • Add settings in pause menu

  • Check why some functionals depend on framerate? ( some should not )

Probably will upload a fresher version when the list is completed.
So that everyone can feel the new movement swings :)

Alright - that’s it for now!

P.S. Thanks to everyone who finds time to play Area 86 and give feedback!!!
Can’t thank enough!

Fan art for Foolish I'm feeling kinda better so I drew this

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.

A house I've built a while ago. :)

It nicely separates the snowy biome from the grassy one.

It's built with painted Ebonstone.

Spaaaace~

These are background sprites I've created for a game I'm working on at school ^w^ Click on the post to see how the sprites connect. You won't regret it! (personally, I think it's pretty heheh)

Drawn in Piskel using my mouse. Whaddya think?
