As an experiment in choosing colours (šŸ˜¬) and as an opportunity to expand my range, I made a smol Clash of Clans piece with the first four troops of the game. I had much more fun making this than I expected and Iā€™ll definitely be making more of these.šŸ™‚

I enjoyed the Cherry Blossom Torterra piece so much I decided to make more Pokemon variants. This is a Nepenthes-styled Victreebel, with a slight twist on the source of the tail vine.

This uses the Endesga32 palette, as did the previous piece.

And make it double!ā€

Iā€™ve been working on a new 2-bit isometric piece and Team Rocket are featured in the scene. šŸ™‚

Sorry for the quote, but it was too good an opportunity to pass up. šŸ˜

Coming out of a comment from pixeldotfaeā€™s Twitch stream on Monday, I couldnā€™t resist making this variant of the ā€œgoose holding a knifeā€ image with a lightsabre and the Code of the Sith.

I grant this isnā€™t a new idea (given the art I found when I looked), but I suddenly got the urge to pixel a cherry blossom variant of Torterra.

Iā€™m really pleased with this piece as Iā€™m not used to working with so many colours.

I caught a shiny Voltorb recently in PokĆ©mon Go and, frankly, I was beginning to think they were mythical in the game. I thought Iā€™d share the pixel art I made of the line last year again.

Swipe to see the screen cap of the PoGo shiny.

Iā€™ve been wanting to make 2-bit isometric pieces more often and this is my first true foray into them.

I know Ash, Misty and Brock didnā€™t join up early enough for Viridian Forest, but I liked the idea so I ran with it.

Happy #WIPWednesday! Are you working on a game? Making some art? Practicing a song? Something else? Tell us in the comments!

As for the cherry blossom Torterra, hereā€™s the timelapse for my Nepenthes-variant of Victreebel.
