As far as a battle system, I was thinking turn based, but would it be more interesting in a different way?

I'll post a desk design as well by 10pm eastern time
I was working on the cover art for a manga style comic book about Archesim until I realized... "Hm what does that face look like..." I have unintentionally made some sort of amalgamation of my hero characters. You tell me.
Almost, fully textured for what's there (the papers on top of the desk are going to have text and so I'm hiring a digital calligraphist). By Friday I'll hopefully be able to finish extra details like empty cans, and of course the shameful sheep.
