Introducing my Next Game: Avarice
If you follow my intagram or twitter (@SirisTheDragon ) You probably already know about it.
Avarice is set out to be a retro-future/cyberpunk, fps, dungeon crawler with a horror atmosphere.
As it stands a fair bit of progress has been made:
The game's core controls, player movement, and art style have been set.
The combat loop, several enemy types and weapons have also been implemented, some even near game-ready status.
A few test environments and even early levels have been built.
Basic settings and save system have been implemented, as well as a Start and Pause menu.
Well over 200 3D meshes and a few dozen sound effects are already in the game, however many will still need polish.
I plan on starting to post some short video clips of test level game play on youtube in the near future.
The next big hurtle in design is planning the game world map. This too has already been started:
Going forward I want to keep up with semi-regular develops. This game is still a long way from done; I don't even have a final title for it at time of writing. If you want to follow this project more closely feel free to follow my social media:
