Back from GDC & EGX - v1.4 is live - 33% off sale - XboxOne and PS4 coming soon


Jump Gunners 1.4 comes to Gamejolt! Over on Steam, Jump Gunners has been receiving multiple updates since launch, and the 1.4 version represents a near total overhaul of the game, with plenty of new content added.

Now, work begins on the Xbox and PS4 versions, which should be coming soon. Stay tuned for more updates as we enter the console certification process.

The update features feedback from the player community and from the hundreds of multiplayer rounds played live at GDC and EGX.

Here are the major highlights:

  • BOT AI players for selected game modes

  • Horde mode, survive against waves of AI players for as long as you can

  • Tons of new levels added and existing levels re-balanced

  • Weapon re-balances across the board, and increased bullet collision accuracy

  • Major camera tracking improvements

  • Gameplay re-balancing, fixed a lot of issues with the overall game feel

  • Major performance updates, faster level load times

  • Tons of bug fixes

  • More hats of course!

After being featured by Microsoft at GDC 2018 in San Francisco, Microsoft also took the game to EGX Rezzed 2018 in London. Jump Gunners is featured by Microsoft as a highly anticipated indie title launching soon on Xbox One.

GDC was an amazing experience, and we got great feedback from other developers such as Mike Bithell (Thomas Was Alone) and Tommy Refenes (Super Meat Boy) and some of the team at Mojang! The feedback was hugely positive, and it was great to see some of my gaming heroes playing and enjoying Jump Gunners!

I must have played several hundred rounds of multiplayer with visitors to GDC during the week, and most have wondered why they haven’t played it sooner, as everyone was having such a blast! Everyone loved playing 4 player local multiplayer rounds, and it was a title everyone was keen to get into their gaming nights :)

I wasnt able to attend EGX Rezzed in person, but the feedback we got was nothing but positive, with many people coming back to play many times, and we were told by many that it was one of their favourite games of the show!
