Hey everyone! Long time no see!
I'm finally back to give you guys some details about what exactly is going on with this series.
Where We Left Off:
The last post I made on this "game page" regarding actual updates was around 3-4 months ago. In that post, I put this series on hiatus to finish my game, The Return to Freddy's: The Emerald Butterfly. Well, it finally came out! I am all done with the game! The only thing left to do regarding that game is just bug fixes and balance changes, all of which are pretty small additions to the game.
This means all of my attention is being brought back right here! This series is going to resume!
But there are going to be some changes and things I want to discuss.
Updates:
Regarding the current series itself, progress is starting back at 0%. Originally, the series was at about 55% completed, but I was using counters. I've asked, I've received, you guys want Alterable Values.
This is all in all a good thing. Even though I do have to restart, I would rather have something you guys can use in the long run, and not something that will clutter your screen in the future.
The layout is the same, the quality of the sound has gotten better, and it's still me at the end of the day, so nothing crazy.
Another update is that I MAY split Part 1 into 2 videos.
This sounds a bit weird, but stick with me.
I struggle with Part 1... BAD. No matter how many times I try to start up this series again, part 1 KICKS my ass. But the main issue is time. Part 1, no matter how many times I make it, it will always be over an hour long.
Part 1 is dedicated to learning the layout of Clickteam and making a menu, but this just takes too much time. So, I've decided I will experiment with the idea of splitting part 1 into TWO videos:
Video 1: Do YOU want to make FNaF fangames? (w.i.p)
This is a recommended pre-requisite to the ACTUAL Part 1, although I could just call this Part 1 and make the series 16 episodes instead, we'll see.
This video will solely go over: My experience with Clickteam, What to expect with this series, What Clickteam Program you should get, and the layout of Clickteam along with some tips and tricks
It's HIGHLY recommended to watch this episode first. It's not needed technically, but when I actually discuss making the menu, I will not go as in depth as I would usually go.
Video 2: Making FNaF Fangames Using Clickteam | Part 1: The Menu
This is the actual first part where we make the menu. It will not be as in depth, making the tutorial much shorter while still getting most of the details.
Other Small Details:
Now that's out of the way, a lot of people have been asking, "When is this series coming out?"
From now on with ANY of my projects, a release date will be on my Game Jolt Bio page. Some are exact dates or months, others are approximate.
This series should APPROXIMATELY come out during the summer to fall.
It is a bit far away, but I want to ensure that I have enough time to actually complete it. As of right now, I am 1 month away until graduation, and after that, things are going to get a little busier for me.
I may not have as much time to do what I want. In the summer, I am getting promoted at my job to work full-time as a manager, and in the fall coming up, I'm starting up college, soooo, safe to say that things are going to look weird in the next coming months, and truthfully, I don't know what's to come.
But anyway, that's all I have to say
Goodbye
Kameron
