⭐ Hey everyone!

First and foremost, I really wanna apologize for the inactiveness, as some as you may know, the project went on a hiatus that started in mid September and lasted until today. Reason being that my mental health was all over the place at the time, leading to depression and whatnot. I was originally planning to do this devlog in halloween night and have it themed but that didn't work at all.

But now everything's good, and I'm ready to pick this up where it left off and show y'all some goods!

🌼 The Gardens

The gardens are one of the many different areas located in The Chasms, and Asgore takes care of each one of them.

We're working very hard to make this area of the game way bigger than the usual undertale ruins. The gardens are one of the many variations of The Chasms, to keep things new and different.

I've figured out a lot when coding the overworld, from running and DR's footstep sounds to firefly-like light particles and flower particles when you walk in the flower bed.

Just a heads up, this first room will break your expectations. In a good way, hopefully!

We've also updated some screenshots, as you can see below.

✨ Battle sprites will now be shaded!

Decided to put a bit of more work into things and make all battle sprites shaded with dark blue, which is the theme of the AU, and occasionally dark grey.

Like in this new spritesheet for Froggit, for example:

But don't worry if you're a fan of your usual just black and white, you can always change it to however you like in the options menu.

We've also changed Asgore's sprites, which you can see in this familiar concept of a bit later on in the game.

We have brand new music done by the one and only amazing HelplessHarp!
