A week has passed since I published this page and WOW! I'm very grateful for all the 96 followers!
I will repeat the following for every post, for new people: Beart Trap: Greddy's is a FNaF fan game that is being made in Godot by yours truly. Every week I'll post a new update, showcasing the progress I've made for the game. :)
Animatronic AI
This week has been mostly creating and finishing (I've finished it this morning, I've been working with it for a few weeks) the base for the AI of the animatronics.
Specifically, I've created the AI for the "Bonnie" type character of this game: Squirnie the Gray Squirrel.
Squirnie the Gray Squirrel
Squirnie is the animatronic on the image of this post. She's a gray squirrel animatronic with a white dress, an acorn pendant and an orange strip around her waist with an orange bow in the middle.
Even if she's the Bonnie of this game, she has different routes through the building and different mechanics. She is also quite fast, making her difficult to track.
Fun fact: These animatronics are just puns, grabbing the name of a FNaF character and changing a part with the corresponding animal. In this case: Squir- from "squirrel" and -nie from "Bonnie". I will reveal more of them the next week.
Art
Every week I've been drawing and completing a bit more each room of the game: adding details, fixing perspectives, drawing animatronics in cams...
I still have several more things to draw, but one thing at a time.
Miscellaneous
I've recently watched the last two "Final Destination movies and "Ready or Not", the latter being absolute cinema.
They are giving me some ideas for the game. :)
