Begun Parallax Mapping + Updates


Hey guys, just updating on my progress on Deidre so far. After untangling a mess of helpful scripts, sound effects and story development, I can finally go full speed on this project. I’ve also learned to Parallax Map somewhat, so I can acheive something closer to my vision of the game. Thanks for the support so far, much love.

P.S. If anyone knows some good resources, any suggestions would be awesome.

Sometimes the suction cup get sticky. Small animation I made in Blender after doing my tutorial on picking up/dropping objects in animations. Crate model by jQueary (https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/game-ready-sci-fi-crate-d98deca6…).

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

A calm and quiet day.. Made surreal by the feeling of finding an elven building in the mountains, and wondering of its purpose and story. I built this elven style house and it was my first attempt at something like this, but what do you think?
