First of all, I want to thank each and every one of you for supporting the game like this. The last 5 days have been unlike anything I've ever experienced in my Game Dev journey. I got to talk and hang out with content creators & streamers who I absolutely enjoy the work of. This all felt like an absurdly surreal experience and I'm thankful I chose to release it when I did... Which bring me to my main point:
This Wacky Episode, it wasn't planned at all. For those who followed me before release, I said that there was going to be an October update video, which was going to showcase Dual Ability Wielding, and that was meant to be it. If you guessed that it took 23 extremely stressful days to do every level besides Green Greens & Whispy Woods, then congratulations on guessing right. There were points where I wanted to give up the project entirely, points where I had to cut out the extra 3 levels I had planned to go with those last bosses, points where despite my pitiful mental health, I needed to keep going. I knew I had to release it before the November games took most of people's playtimes. I worked days & nights to be able to bring this to you all, and I sincerely hope this has been worth it so far.
What I didn't expect was for it to make waves in this kind of way, to the point where I get responses from people about this being their dream Kirby game, or something they've always wanted. This is the part where I'm gonna be real about things, but while I appreciate all the love, this puts an excruciating amount of pressure on a single man's shoulders. Truth be told, I'm feeling overwhelmed by all this, and in an ideal scenario, I'd have wished to keep things simpler.
Yes, I'm making a Kirby fan-game, but please understand that I'm making my OWN Kirby game. Things might not be how HAL Laboratory would do them, and that's entirely the point of it. I don't care about consistency with the real games, I don't care about continuity with the real games, and I mostly don't care if things aren't perfect. So please, don't put this game, or myself, on a pedestal like this, or you might end up disappointed quite easily.
As some of you know, all of the stages & bosses (at least how they are now) from the Wacky Episode aren't gonna be in the final game. This was a fun little experiment, because at heart, I wanted you guys to experience Dual Wielding for yourself, and not just show you in a minute-long video. I'll shut it up now and go to sleep, but please know that the game might not end up not being for some people in the long run. It's gonna be a collectathon/metroidvania in the style of Amazing Mirror set in an entirely rebranded version of the Kirby universe. There's a lot on my plate for the future, but for now, I'm absolutely taking a break, even cancelling another patch I had potentially in the works and will be working on taking better care of myself instead.

"Alex, that's the 6th time you've shown Kirby rolling this month..." Me, for a 7th time:
Game balance is... uh, still work in progress. To demonstrate what I mean, take a look at some fresh Chop Champs gameplay :)
Announcing a name change for the project and a big step in a new direction: The complete project files are available for game makers to download! I'm leaving the entirety of this project in the hands of the community.
I'm feeling generous, so here's another video showcasing a NPC! This wise kid has something to say, will you hear him out?
Small teaser for a certain Magical Boomerang. Still a tricky but powerful item to maneuver! And with that I'll be taking a break for a few days, for obvious reasons I imagine.
Important project update:
