This is an update on some of the changes I’ve decided to make in the full game.
-The adventure/battle side-story part will not be part of Pitch Black but a separate game I’ve named Pitch Black: Mira. You may have noticed the Skills equipment, weapons, armor, bestiary and quest options in the demos menu screen. Those were at the beginning there because of the side-story.
The overall aesthetics of the menus will improve if it’s just what it’s needed in the game rather than something for later on.
I thought on making them disappear while they’re not used but that’s unnecessary work.
This will also improve the size of the download for people who only want to play one of the two but “You need to play the first to know what happens in Mira”
-Uniforms: The school has a name. A roof?
-I’ve expanded some plot related things like for example, the location outside the Closed space and the events happening in that specific place. What this means is, the game no longer starts inside the CS.
-More Cats that may or may not have top hats.
-Some other things that may spoil story.
-I won’t be updating the demo now not because I don’t want to nor because I’m busy, but because of spontaneous data destruction. I had backup but it had like 3 weeks less work on it and that’s an insane ammount of eventing(The graphics were intact though). I grieved over this for some time but now I’m glad it happened as I decided not to use the original maps I started with and make new ones as I’ve improved over the development process(As I think I said once, This game started as me, learning the basics).
The game is looking better than ever as you may see in the last screenshot I uploaded.
And those are all the updates.
I’m sorry for the bugs in the demo. I can’t fix them now.
At this point I don’t know if I’m gonna make a new demo or just release the full game soon. Probably the former.
