Hello everyone!
It's been quite a while since our last post, and it's also been quite some time with the demo taken down. We'd like to inform you lot on what all we've been doing (it's not nothing!) to try and be transparent on our progress.
We've been hard at work on LotS, and the in-house engine that now powers it. Because of the Unity nonsense earlier this year, we took down the demo to protect ourselves from any odd TOS changes that might go under the radar for us, and even though Unity has changed it since, we do not want to support a company who will make decisions that can harm their community without proper warning or discussion beforehand. We also plan on using this engine for future projects after LotS.
To get into specifics, the main things we've been able to do while the engine is brought to a stable point is refine our style and vision a lot more than what the demo showcased, and we've also been updating our design philosophy for the project as well. All in all, progress is going swimmingly, and once the engine and game have significant or intriguing progress we will absolutely share! Thank you all for being an amazing community and we look forward to showing what we've been at work doing this past little while!
