Hey all, summer vacation has finally begun for me. This, quite obviously, means that I will be working on Gleebird's far more than I have as of late. So, in the spirit of summer, I'd like to give a progress report to all of you!
First off, modeling.
While not spoiling or showing much, I can say that every character has gone through a remodel for a lot of reasons; and from what I've gathered from everyone who's seen these remodels, they are looking very good!
Regarding the environment, it has not been my main focus in the past month, but there has been progress in some form.
Programming
Not much has been accomplished due to a sort of overhaul occurring with character mechanics and the gameplay loop itself. Nothing super significant, but enough to put everything else on hold.
However, I am currently working on a menu prototype; hopefully, with the work I'm putting in, it'll be pretty cool.
Regarding the old trailer:
Some of you may remember that I showed off frames from a trailer I was producing for the CODENAME: Fangames event. It was never completed, because there have been a lot of touch-ups and overhauls in every facet of the game. However, when everything is said and done, I do hope to make a neat trailer for all of yall.
I have no clue when the next update will be. I'll probably stick to the semi-monthly schedule I've set up for myself, but who knows.
