Have you ever started making something and realized it looked bad, so you just gave up? I definitely have, and almost did here. It is important to recognize that it's okay to restart. Don't be scared to start over on something if you don't like where it is going, there is a good chance you just started the process wrong, and that's okay. Restarting can help you look at the problems you ran into fresh and before they happened.
In the images shown above, the head on the right was my first attempt, and I didn't really know what I was doing wrong. It got to the point of me just giving up on it and almost on the whole thing entirely. I decided to give it one more shot (left), and I would say it payed off. When I was modeling the second time, I knew where I went wrong in some places on the first, like where I needed more geometry, and what to block out first. Just seeing it turning out better was super motivating as well.
Anyway, I just wanted to share something that I think could help some people. I'm also just proud of how this is looking so far.
