So I’ve added this blood splatter effect in when enemies die, nothing fancy. I could have done particles but I felt like trying a hand-drawn splatter effect instead and I like it. I need to find a way to capture gifs of the game, but anyway, here’s the sheet for the splatter:

Either way, I’m currently working on an inventory a new flying enemy type (well, the sprites are kinda old since I made them like 18 months ago but the enemy itself is finally going to get programmed)
I feel like I wanna do something like either the buzz bombers from like Sonic or the flying skulls from Castlevania. One of these is more work than the other, but it should be fun. Well, fun for me, at least.
