I actually really sat down and played my own game last night and all evening today, and realized I’ve been neglecting a weapons house cleaning quite a bit. I’ve been so caught up with work and fixing the netcode I forgot to fix the weapons themselves.
So a bit of weapon rebalancing was in order. If a weapon got a nerf, it was because I felt it using it was a mindless activity you could farm a lot of kills with or hurt the game balance in its own special way.
Any buffs I gave to a weapon I felt like I was struggling far too much to keep a decent kdr with (compared to the regular or OP weapons)
Fixed/Changed
Pingable servers are now sorted to the top (correctly..)
Weapons
Increased fire rate of the assault rifle
Increased fire rate of the power rifle
Slightly increased chain gun damage
Decreased damage on the acid gun
Increased damage on the machine gun
Decreased push back on the light rockets
Increased accuracy of the musket
Acid gun now has damage fall off
Increased damage on the plinger
Increased damage on the pump shotgun
Increased damage on the double barrel
Increased dual pistol damage and fire rate
Increased bolt action’s reload speed
Decreased jet pack’s jump height
Fire no longer does damage while its fading away
Increased burst pistol damage
Decreased Rocket Launcher’s missile speed
Increased mortar’s reload speed
All melee weapons are now weightless
