Using Godot I think I've gotten some basics down about how stuff works; level building and implementing, enemy configuration (which took a while to figure out), player stuff, UI, etc. This is definitely just the beginning, and I plan to add much much more. What's not featured in the video is some tutorial text I added on, and an in-progress third level. Eventually I hope to add some music and extra gimmicks as well!
On a side note, if anyone has any Godot tutorials they recommend, please do share! I still need to figure out certain things like collectibles carrying over between levels and how to properly use the 'call_deferred' command, which is particularly giving me trouble.
