BRIGHT is Open Sourced!


It was great to be participating in the #flappyjam together with my brother, and I’m really happy with the result, so from now on, the .gm81 is now offered alongside the executable to learn new code (mostly drag ‘n drop, but also useful code, and most of it is commented) or tinker things to create the ultimate game. Download it here.

If you make something new out of it, please let me know (although you are not required to) via GameJolt or Twitter (@AmazingcookieNL)! In case you where wondering, the Open Sourced version of the game has a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License. (with the notice that the fonts and music included are not mine, but are in the credits).

Please notice that the GJ support was removed from this edition to prevent players from hacking my game. I’m sorry but it was neccesary. The online features have been replaced by the Tweet button and the visible local highscore list. More notices in the .gm81 (in the Info tab of the Global Game Settings).
