Bug Fixes!

Since the last Eldritchvania update we've been reading feedback and watching game play videos; which lead us to witnessing and fixing more bugs.

As always thanks to all of you for sharing your thoughts and reporting any problems you've found.

While Eldritchvania is complete, your help is going a long way to maintaining it and ensuring its in the best possible state going forward.

Here's the full list of squashed bugs in this update:

- Casting a spell while going through a room transition no longer stops the spell from working until the save is reloaded.

- Rain now falls all the way onto the boat instead of hitting it's ghostly aura. - Thanks @Gooblet

- Rain can now splash on the memorial grave stone. How many were lost during your adventure?

- Fixed vertical moving ground and pressure plates not calculating their speed properly and causing player bounce. - Thanks @Gooblet

- Removed a couple missed debug features that resolved in some puzzles being completed by people with the right key bind adjustments. - Thanks @Crownmuri

- Improved the hit box on Malice Spheres.

- Fixed being able to repeatedly smash the crystal.

Next up

We took @Benallen 's suggestion and improved the map view even more by changing the colour of rooms you've entered, further clarifying where you've been so far; and thus where you might want to go next.

Hi all!

A huge thanks to everyone who has played and left feedback for Eldritchvania so far!

This first update is all bug fixes and you can see exactly whats been fixed in the article below.

We're back with another update to Eldritchvania!

The focus here was accessibility, namely the flashing effects included throughout the game.

We've added the option to turn off flashing effects!

Madeline is the main protagonist of the mountain climbing platformer, Celeste. The game has been praised for its visuals, gameplay, and introspective narrative. The game's creator Maddy Thorson confirmed that Madeline is trans in 2020.

Mae Borowski is the main character of Night in the Woods! It's an adventure game that tells the story of her return to her hometown of Possum Springs. She was confirmed as canonically pan in a social media post by the game's creator Scott Benson.
